Daniel Duran was born in Argentina but spent most of his time in Canada and wanted to become an actor – but after appearing in a few films, mostly as an extra, he pursued a career working for the WJG after living in his car for several months. His father is Spanish and originally from Spain but raised in Argentina. Danny was estranged from his family after being ‘outed’ by gay magazines found under his bed. Known to be very talented and intelligent by his peers, he was mostly hated by WJG personnel when he first started in 2017 for being ‘arrogant’ , extremely foul mouthed and promiscuous. After a life-changing event in 2021, he is now widely accepted by mostly everyone at HW and WJG. Being agnostic throughout most of his life, Duran began to study Christianity in 2021 – he has now accepted his frailties, and befriended his “worst enemy” (WJG Associate Michael Doel) in 2022). Now both men are domestic partners after loathing each other for years that even included episodes of violence towards each other. Daniel says now his ‘best friend’ is Michael and considers Mitch Jordan like a ‘little brother’ after making Jordan’s life miserable for years for being a ‘midget’. He is Peter Worthington’s personal CyberGuard. Daniel has also modeled briefly. Daniel Duran has won 57 awards working at the WJG since 2016. He is a dance instructor, loves Disco Music from the 1970s, sings, plays the flute and saxophone. Among his top 20 Films of all time, his favorite is “ORDINARY PEOPLE” From 1980, for “Teaching him about forgiveness in his life”. His favorite song is “Catchin’ Faith” (WJG-HW ANTHEM -1). His mother recently was killed in a car accident in 2025. His father has not spoken to him since 2015 after discovering his that his son was gay. His grandmother remains living in Ireland and she now speaks to him after 14 years of silence due to his ‘life’s choices’. His father migrated to Argentina from Madrid. Daniel recently survived a near-fatal bout with pneumonia in November, 2024 and was on a respirator for days. Daniel has 42 CyberGuard-of-the-month awards among numerous other awards including CyberGuard-of-the-Year for 2024 and winning Most Valuable CyberGuard in 2025. His favorite foods are barbecued ribs, stuffed Greek potato, and Banana Crème Pie. After being an alcoholic for years, he quit drinking in 2022 and his favorite drink Is now Diet Dr. Pepper and Coca-Cola Light with a ‘squeeze of lemon’. Update: He and is father met 28 Feb 2026 and have reunited after 15 years of separation – but it was brief as his father suffered a heart attack and died on 4 June 2026.

Reader asks: How do I know if I am a Christian?

Dear Danny – How can a person know that he or she is a REAL Christian? Could you give me some examples? Also if a person does drugs, drinks alcohol or smokes does that mean they are not Christian? – Levy (Libera)

From CyberGuard 17 Danny Duran: I will give a list of things to see and answer your question(s).
A real Christian speaks kindly but will tell you the truth – even if the truth is not very nice, good or kind. Sometimes they will stay silent under adversity. A person who is NOT CHRISTIAN will always defend themselves – and will say they are being ‘bullied’ – especially if anyone tells them the truth. Criminals do the same. Christians will not go publicly and condemn anyone because of their origin of birth, or because they do not follow ‘their way of life’. God made everyone different in His eyes. Any person who carries the Bible in one hand and a gun on his other hand is a fool – and bible clearly states ‘he who lives by the sword will die by the sword’ . Christians are responsible – they are not lazy. They do not take advantage of anyone. A real Christian follows the 10 commandments – and God’s law of Love. A Christian hates no individual – just their ugly acts. Christians will never betray a friend. Never. Anyone person who betrays their friend is NOT A CHRISTIAN.

Christians do not lie to you when it matters or face scrutiny.
Christians will offer to help, but will ignore a person who rejects or chastises them.
Christians are Never Violent. They turn the other cheek.
Christians worship God, not money or sex. God is always first.
Those are a few examples of a real Christian, and those that are not.

Your 2 Questions:
Many Christians smoke cigarettes, do drugs or drink Alcohol. But these are Christians in examinations. A person does not become Christian over night – unless God permitted it. For example, I studied the Bible beginning 2021 I became a Christian in 2024 and was baptized in 2025 – completing the circle. Between 2021 and 2024 I did drink alcohol, smoked and did resort to recreational drugs. I stopped in 2022 (the drinking). I quit smoking in 2023 and I stop doing recreational drugs in 2024. It was a process. I knew I had to stop – because God told me it was wrong. So I stopped eventually with prayer and courage. I was successful. I asked God to help me stop. He did. I also asked God for a few other things – He said no. Christians who engage in those destructive habits are Christians under examinations – they need to complete the circle to become full fledged Christians. Two other things: Christians do not have filthy mouths. They speak from the heart and show respect for others – even if the respect involves telling them the truth – which nobody likes to hear. And Secondly, Christians fight and avoid the 7 deadly sins – “Pride”, “Slough”, “Envy”, “Rage”, “Gluttony”, “Greed” and “Lust”. Anyone of those 7 – especially Pride or Envy can be anyone’s undoing. Don’t do it. Pride created Satan and envy destroys relationships and darkens the heart. Even the road to ruin has a toll gate – and the price to pay maybe your life.

If you are studying the Bible – concentrate on The 4 Gospels – Matthew, Luke, Mark and John, the Book of Revelations, The Book of Psalms, and Proverbs. They are the key books to life on this world.

There are millions of fake Christians. Millions. They are easy to find in the streets, the public eye, and in social media. These are people that will tell you ‘they believe in Jesus’ or say “I’m a Christian”. These ‘fake’ Christians will be quick to condemn others (when they themselves along with all of humanity was condemned when God created the first man billions of earth years ago). They have many characteristics. They will be quick to judge you – but forgive anyone very quietly or not at all. They are proud people. They claim to be last in line to let others see them, but they will first in line to receive anything for free. They will always think of themselves first. They are like wolves that dress in sheep’s clothing – pretending to help you, and then abandon you when trouble strikes. They are like cowards – running from their problems instead of solving them. They will give you something and then ask for something in return – like the shrewd business man. They lie to you about their needs – and only wait to be served. They claim to have ‘good’ friends – but most of those friends are only ‘fair-weathered friends’. They are back stabbers – just waiting for an opportunity to help themselves instead of others. They will be proud to tell you how they got ahead in life – but not tell you they did it by walking on the backs of others. Many have filthy mouths, and hate the truth. They love their possessions, and become filled with envy when others have more or receive help. They are suspicious people, gossips that are seen whispering behind the backs others. They are unbelievers in hiding – And only believe when it happens to them. Many live in palaces, and throw their bread crumbs to those who have nothing. Fake Christians will want you to see them pray in the public streets and be the center of attention when only God is the Center Of All Things. They live for today – not for a future in God’s house. Many attend Church, and then they go home and condemn their own or the strangers they see. They show their kindness on one side, but hide their callousness and cold heart on the other side – only after they achieve their carnal goals. In government they the ones that pass laws to punish you for helping others and are the first to take away God’s gift of grace and their freedom to choose. In social media, they hide behind their worthless cell phones, and communication devices and hate the people that speak the truth and will instigate others to kill them. They are the same people that invite you to their home and but hide their dirty laundry and skeletons in their closets. They shed the blood of innocent, and claim they were the victim. They find others to do their work, while sit back and find comfort in their own filth and rot. They are freeloaders and homeweckers that destroy friendships and family. They are irresponsible, without merit, without commitment, They wallow in their despair and want others to solve their problems for them while they do nothing.They are lazy. They are a thankless people. They are truly worthless individuals lacking respect towards God’s True children. Many go to church and only choose to uphold what they choose to believe and discard the rest they do not like – like the true hypocrites they are.
They show respect mostly to people with money, power, and social standing..

Remember Charlie a child of Christ will not stand in the streets or have himself on the social media condemning anyone. Christ came to SAVE us, not to condemn an already condemn race of beings he created. God is all about choice – for us to choose which path we want – and let no one take that choice from you. I have seen many of these types of ‘fake’ people in my 32 years of being on this world. I know. Because I used to be one of them – just plain evil – pretending to be someone I wasn’t. – Danny

Reader Asks Danny About “Making Plans”
Dear Danny, I know many Christians, and even they ask the question that I want you to answer if you can. Everybody makes plans – whether they are short term or long term. But a Professor at my University recently told me that 90 percent of our plans don’t go as we planned them. Ask your teachers this question to why this happens – even to Christian people. – Irma (San Juan, Arg.)

I don’t need to ask my teachers for the answer. The reason is before you or anyone makes any ‘plans’, God has the right to change them – whether or not you are one of His children, or not. God comes first. Not you or your plans. The reason? I’m been writing and saying this many times over and over again: In this world, people only think about themselves. That’s insulting to God. Put God first, and he will allow your plans to be fulfilled. Take care of your faith In God. Treat it like a beautiful garden that you maintain. It requires being responsible, keeping your commitments, and most of all following God’s law of Love. Don’t be like the foolish of this world – which are the majority: putting their desires and themselves, and love of money first. Don’t do it. It’s not worth it – Danny

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, also known as ‘the unpardonable sin’ is seeing with your own eyes of power of the acts of God’s, and giving the Devil credit for it. It is the greatest undermining of God’s acts and saying to everyone it was an ‘act of the devil or an act of evil’.. It is rarely committed by individuals. Satan never can never anything ‘good’ nor can he do ‘miracles’ – only God are be given credit for those acts. As for your other question, No. I do not remember ever committing that sin. I was an evil person, but I never gave the devil credit for anything that was good – (at least I can’t remember ever doing it either) – Danny Duran
